What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government funded program that aims to empower individuals living with a disability. It is an investment in the health and wellbeing of individuals. The NDIS aims to improve accessibility to support services to improve independence, community participation, and employment opportunities and help individuals manage their disabilities.

Be sure to notify reception you are an NDIS participant and please state your NDIS registration number and how your fund is being managed (Agency, Plan or Self managed).

When you come to your first appointment, be sure to bring your plan, NDIS registration material and any relevant supporting evidence forms that require completion by a therapist along to your first appointment.

What is a Discovery Session?

Our Discovery sessions are a one-hour comprehensive discussions with a qualified therapist designed to determine whether BHN is the right place for you to access services, to discuss your NDIS goals and to discuss how your goals can be achieved with access to BHN.  If time permits, physical assessment may be undertaken. 

A Discovery Agreement will be sent for this appointment 

(Discovery S.A. not necessary for self-managed but appointment payable on day).
