Britt Wort

Occupational Therapist.  

Britt is a registered occupational therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

 

Qualifying in a country which has a diverse range of cultures and languages and a public health system that is severely overburdened and under resourced, has taught Britt to be adaptable and contextually appropriate in her approach to treating clients.

 

Her studies allowed her to work with a diverse client base in many clinical blocks including physical health, mental health, paediatrics and work practice. She has practical experience working with both adults and children in a variety of settings, including both public and private healthcare, as well as non-profit and outreach-based organisations.

 

Britt is interested in a variety of Occupational Therapy areas, especially in the treatment of neurological, neuro-developmental, and upper limb conditions. Britt is passionate about holistic client-centred care, where she can work collaboratively with her clients to help them achieve their personal goals, independence and enjoyment in their daily life.

 

In her free time, Britt enjoys art, reading, cooking, baking and spending time with her dog.

Chelsea Haigh

Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Chelsea is currently completing her 4th year of a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Griffith University. She has experience in various settings from university placements and has worked with children over the past two years. Chelsea has an interest in continuing to work with children after finishing university however, is also interested in widening her scope of practice. Chelsea is passionate about delivering high quality care to assist clients in working towards living independently and achieving their goals.

In Chelsea's spare time she enjoys sailing, wake boarding and playing Touch Rugby League.

Ciara Burville

Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Ciara is currently studying her third year of Occupational Therapy at the University of Queensland. Ciara has experience working with clients from her university placements thus far, and is eager to continue to build on her experience through working with a variety of different clients of different ages and backgrounds. She is passionate about enabling clients to engage in the activities that are meaningful to them. Ciara is also passionate about assisting clients in achieving not only their goals, but fulfilling their full potential to allow them to have the best quality of life possible. In her spare time, she enjoy going to the beach and playing basketball.
