Britt is a registered occupational therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
Qualifying in a country which has a diverse range of cultures and languages and a public health system that is severely overburdened and under resourced, has taught Britt to be adaptable and contextually appropriate in her approach to treating clients.
Her studies allowed her to work with a diverse client base in many clinical blocks including physical health, mental health, paediatrics and work practice. She has practical experience working with both adults and children in a variety of settings, including both public and private healthcare, as well as non-profit and outreach-based organisations.
Britt is interested in a variety of Occupational Therapy areas, especially in the treatment of neurological, neuro-developmental, and upper limb conditions. Britt is passionate about holistic client-centred care, where she can work collaboratively with her clients to help them achieve their personal goals, independence and enjoyment in their daily life.
In her free time, Britt enjoys art, reading, cooking, baking and spending time with her dog.
